Other June Fun

June wasn't as action packed as my kids would have hoped it would be, but that's life sometimes.  Some other things that went down in the month of June...

Christopher went on his first ever Boy Scout campout. 

One of the memorable moments for Christopher on that first campout was when the truck broke down and had to be towed. 

We got new cement borders in our front yard.  And for some reason someone placed this giant rubber spider on it, and scared the living daylights out of me.  I threw rocks at it until I was sure it was fake. 

Speaking of that new cement border, Christopher decided to test it out a little too early.  He called me crying.  I just laughed. 

We went and visited the Tucson Temple open house.  It's a little baby temple.  My kids made fun of me because I was checking out the fire extinguishers.  They were tagged by Metro Fire :).  

This girl.  Why be a regular pirate when you can be a fairy pirate?? 

Christopher and I find ourselves alone on weekend nights a lot these days.  That's life with teenagers I guess. We go on dates. 

And last but certainly not least, Maddie is FINALLY done with summer school.  She took all of her Social Studies classes in summer school so she could make room for more extra curriculars during the school year. 

Zach takes on Moab

Zach was super excited to get to go to Moab this summer with his boy scout troop.    It was hot and dusty, but I hear it was a lot of fun.    Since I wasn't actually there, and technically speaking I am writing this almost a year later, I'll just let the pictures speak for themselves and I will add a comment or two as I see fit. Ü
