Maddie might have lingered a little longer at my side than expected, but when Christopher showed up to pre-school on his very first day, he ran through he door without so much as a backwards glance.
He loves it. And he's very proud of his little art projects. And I'm proud of him even with this little spot in my heart that hurts just a little bit.
