Frankfurt, etc.

There's not a whole lot for a tourist to do in Frankfurt itself. It's more of a "big city" type of place, not really what you come to Germany for unless your a banker or something, or a geek taking a training class.

Our first night we went and checked out pretty much the only little touristy area, a place called Romerburg. But we got there late and everything seems to shut down around 5:30, so all there really was to do was look at the architecture.

Oh and I got some ice-cream. Raspberry. Then while I ate my ice-cream John watched one of the soccer games on one of the big out door TV’s one of the local bars provided. It’s the Euro cup, which is huge here (more on that later). The football (soccer) fans here make American football fans look tame.
